The opening day unfolds in the Nyíri Forest at the Vackor Vár Forest School (Vackor Vár Erdei Iskola), with a horseback tour by the Ballószög riding friends and, from 10:00, a bustling showcase and market of local products. Kids get a full slate: Bábika Playhouse; forest watercolor painting led by painter and Kodály School teacher Otília Nagy; “Pictures from Natural Materials” with artist Klára Faragó; herbal health with Ilona Gajdácsiné Kuruc; crafts by the Large Families Association; woodcarving with Zoltán Varga; Szill_Art’s Csodavarroda; and an interactive animal demo from the Kecskemét Wildlife Park. The Zöld Misszió Store runs a zero‑waste shopping stand, while the Kecskemét Civil Roundtable hosts community booths, including Hírös Rovókör’s “rune carving” workshop.
