Nagykanizsa’s cultural calendar is packed for the coming months, offering everything from hilarious comedies to stirring concerts and thought-provoking lectures. It all kicks off on October 25, 2025, with the tragicomedy “TITKOSSZOLGÁK,” followed by the World Heart Day celebrations on the 26th. Enjoy Marc Camoletti’s slapstick play “Hatan Pizsamában” (Six in Pajamas) and an adventurous lecture on Sulawesi and the mysterious Moai statues of Easter Island.
The Festive and Musical Side
Things only get busier through November and December: JazzKanizsa brings jazz to the town, Krisztián Grecsó shares insights in his “EgyÉletem” (My Life) talk, and a cultural pub crawl spices up November 8. Pay tribute to Hungarian music legends at the Zsuzsa Cserháti & Péter Máté memorial concert, and catch solo comic Zoltán Kőhalmi’s show “It’s All In Your Head” (tickets: $21–$24). Masters of Illusion dazzle with double shows, and “Sisi’s Christmas” delivers festive nostalgia at $40 a seat.
Headliners to Delight All Tastes
Choral gospel and HAVASI’s piano show fill December, followed by Adrien Szekeres’ Advent concert ($27). January brings the musical play “Abigél” ($27), Harry Potter and Bridgerton candlelight concerts ($35–$40), plus “István, a király” (Stephen, the King) and operettas to lift winter spirits. Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” and Ennio Morricone’s film scores bring candlelit magic into spring.
