GastroFok is doubling down again this year! On November 8-9, Siófok (Siófok) becomes a playground for foodies, inviting everyone to eat their way across town. Now in its third year, the collaboration brings together the city’s best eateries for a weekend of epicurean adventure, letting locals and visitors sample unique specialties along with deals, surprises, and plenty of fun.
Culinary World Tour in Siófok
Originally launched to spotlight the region’s vibrant wine and culinary offerings, GastroFok stretches from Beautiful Shore (Széplak) to Salt Lake (Sóstó), and Kiliti (Kiliti) to Szabadi (Szabadi), drawing in local producers, top-tier restaurants, and everyone in between. The event aims to boost Lake Balaton’s (Balaton) year-round appeal and cement Siófok (Siófok) as a must-stop on the region’s food map.
A star highlight this year: Noel Fodor (Fodor Noel), Siófok’s rising talent and a member of Hungary’s Bocuse d’Or 2024 finalist team, who won the special “Most Beautiful Plate” award. With heavyweights like him among the patrons, GastroFok 2025 is set to dazzle every palate.
Endless Food, Wine, and Surprises
There’s something for everyone. Feast on signature brunches at After & Brunch and Maran Café (Café Maran). Sip exceptional wines from Horváth Winery of Aliga (Aligai Horváth Winery). Experience rustic culinary artistry courtesy of Dad’s World (Apa Világa), or indulge in smoky sensations from Southern Shore (Déli Part) Woodfire BBQ. Italian food lovers are in for a treat at Bella Italia, Pietro, and A Pinch of Naples (Egy Csipet Nápoly). Classic Hungarian flavors await at Old Fisherman (Öreg Halász) and Sanyi’s Corner (Sanyi Sarok), Asian tastes at Sushi Bar (Sushi Bár), and creative dishes at Little Garden (Kiskert). Don’t skip dessert at Dynasty Confectionery (Dinasztia Cukrászda). Kids can enjoy their own adventure at HashtEgg Toyee Amusement Park (HashtEgg Toyee), with unforgettable experiences.
On March 29-30, live entertainment, special offers, and interactive programs kick off the spring edition, inviting everyone back for more culinary exploration. Plan ahead—table reservations are recommended. And for hassle-free, discounted transport between restaurants, there’s GastroTaxi, letting you taste as much as you want around town.
