After two wildly successful years, GasztroFok is returning for a third year! On November 8-9, 2025, Siófok (Siófok) will transform into Hungary’s culinary hotspot, as the city’s best restaurants, wineries, and food producers come together for another weekend overflowing with flavors. If you’re a devoted food lover, this is your chance to taste everything Siófok has to offer, with exclusive menus, surprise events, and special discounts available at venues all over the city.
Taste the Best of Siófok
GasztroFok began as a bold initiative to showcase the region’s rich wine and food culture and put Siófok (Siófok) on Lake Balaton’s gourmet map. Over the bustling weekend, you can embark on a culinary tour stretching from Széplak (Széplak) to Sóstó (Sóstó), Kiliti (Kiliti) to Szabadi (Szabadi), sampling special dishes crafted just for the occasion. Local producers are just as much a part of the event as high-end gourmet restaurants, dessert bars, street food vendors, and renowned wineries.
The city leadership launched GasztroFok with the dual aim of strengthening the Balaton spirit year-round and boosting Siófok’s gastronomic reputation. This approach ensures there’s something for everyone—whether you crave rustic countryside flavors, innovative cuisine, or international favorites reimagined by local chefs.
A Star-studded Food Adventure
This year’s event is especially exciting, as it’s supported by local talent Noel Fodor, star of the 2024 Bocuse d’Or Hungarian team, who won the “Most Beautiful Plate” prize at the prestigious world final.
On offer: brunch masterpieces at After & Brunch and Café Maran (Café Maran), exquisite wines from Aligai Horváth Winery (Aligai Horváth Pincészet), authentic countryside cuisine from Apa’s World (Apa Világa), smoked delights from Déli Part (Déli Part), Italian temptations at Bella Italia (Bella Italia), Pietro (Pietro), and A Pinch of Naples (Egy Csipet Nápoly), classic Hungarian dishes at Old Fisherman (Öreg Halász) and Sanyi Corner (Sanyi Sarok), Asian flair at Sushi Bar (Sushi Bár), Kiskert’s (Kiskert) unique creations, plus heavenly desserts at Dynasty Confectionery (Dinasztia Cukrászda). Kids can set off on unforgettable adventures at HashtEgg Toyee (HashtEgg Toyee).
