Gödöllő gears up for a packed 2026 with a rich lineup of events all year long. The Gödöllő Royal Castle (Gödöllői Királyi Kastély) and House of Arts Gödöllő (Gödöllői Művészetek Háza) lead the charge, hosting festivals, concerts, theater productions, summer concerts, and exhibitions. Families flock to the castle for kid-friendly programs, interactive educational sessions, and summer day camps. These happenings deliver fun and learning for every age group, from toddlers to theater buffs.
Late March Kickoff
March 31 brings Marcel Achard’s A bolond lány (The Mad Girl), a crime comedy staged by Zenthe Ferenc Theater at the House of Arts Gödöllő. On the same day, dive into Alkoss Velünk! (Create With Us!), a creative workshop and experiential painting session at the Gödöllő Royal Castle.
April Theater Surge
April 5 features Lázár Ervin’s A négyszögletű kerek erdő (The Square-Round Forest), a fairy tale play by A Scene Műhely. On April 7, Örkény István’s Tóték (The Tóth Family) headlines the “Gödöllő 60” Theater Festival at the House of Arts Gödöllő, tickets $14-$16. April 8 spotlights Szente Vajk’s Aranylakodalom – Megint egy legénybúcsú (Golden Wedding – Another Stag Party) there, same $14-$16 range.
