The “Mama, Look! 2026” program brings special baby-friendly guided tours at Gödöllő’s Royal Palace (Grassalkovich Palace) tailored for parents with infants under one year old. Held monthly, these thematic walks explore the palace’s exterior and interior, plus the everyday lives and family dynamics of historical residents, all in a peaceful, family-focused setting. Pre-registration is required, so snag spots early at 2100 Gödöllő, Grassalkovich Palace.
Family Comfort Features
Parents are encouraged to use front-pack baby carriers or slings since strollers aren’t allowed inside the exhibit areas. Organizers provide a limited number of carriers for free during the tour, making it easy for everyone to join. Tours kick off at 9:30 AM before the museum opens and last 60 minutes to fit new parents’ routines. Themes dive into personal stories like motherhood, breastfeeding, child-rearing, and parent-child bonds across historical eras. Downstairs, a dedicated kids’ room offers a quiet spot for nursing or warming baby food, sealing the deal as a truly welcoming cultural event.
