On October 18, 2025, Freedomhouse (Szabadegyháza) is throwing its annual Grape Harvest Parade and Ball. At 9:00 AM, locals and guests will gather at 18 Freedom Square, kicking off an all-day event packed with tradition and music.
Parade and Festivities
The parade starts at 10:00 AM from the Cultural House, with marchers winding through Freedomhouse (Szabadegyháza) in honor of the grape harvest. Expect a lively, colorful procession with plenty of folkloric flair, celebrating the fruits of the season and time-honored village traditions.
A Night of Dancing
From 9:00 PM until 3:00 AM, the party moves back to the Cultural House for a no-holds-barred harvest ball. The EFKA-Partyzans Duo will provide the music, so prepare for energetic dancing and high spirits. Entry costs $4—well worth it for a night of authentic, small-town Hungarian (magyar) revelry.
