January Highlights
Jan 14: The Ujj Mészáros Károly Film Club screens Bugonia. Jan 19: music educator and conductor Tamás Kiss spotlights pop-rock legends of the ’60s–’80s with a photo-rich talk at the Town Hall (Községháza). Jan 21: From favela to Andes—political scientist Alex Kovács delivers a visual lecture on Peru at the Town Hall (Községháza). Jan 22 marks the Day of Hungarian Culture. Jan 30: Dr. Zoltán Burucs presents his book, In the Footsteps of Saint Stephen and the Holy Crown, at the Town Hall (Községháza). Jan 31: The Crown Witness screens, followed by a discussion with Zoltán Attila Szabó on the film’s hero and Péter Kálloy-Molnár, at the Town Hall (Községháza).
Festive February
Feb 7: Carnival Dance House at Kárpáti János ÁAMI. Feb 9: Andrea Papp and Veronika Fekete talk about Northern Norway at the Town Hall (Községháza). Feb 20 doubles up: Traccsparti with Móni Balsai, and a Shrove Tuesday Donut Party at the Town Hall (Községháza).

Spring to Summer
Apr 13: Zselenszky Night—Tamás Török-Zselenszky in concert at the Town Hall (Községháza). Apr 18: Film music concert by the Zalai Balaton Shore Wind Orchestra at Ligetplex Cinema. Jul 9–12: Gyenesdiás Wine Days uncork summer. Aug 6–9: Altér Fest brings the vibes.
