Gyula packs the calendar with concerts, theater, exhibitions, food fests, museum workshops, sports, and guaranteed tours. From spring to autumn, the Castle Theater (Gyulai Várszínház) stages festivals, while the medieval Gyula Castle (Gyulai Vár) runs programs almost year-round. The famed Gyula Castle Spa (Gyulai Várfürdő) remains one of Hungary’s favorite thermal spas, and you’ll run into traditions of pálinka and kolbász at every turn. Between castle nights, comedy sets, and Advent sparkle, the historic spa town never slows down.
