Gyula flips the switch on holiday magic with citywide Advent events from November 28 to December 20. Expect nativity plays, festive shows, live music, candle lightings, and a folk-art market across multiple venues—plus a downtown draped in lights and stalls perfect for gift hunting at the Gyula Advent Fair.
Key Dates and Highlights
November 30 brings the First Advent Candle Lighting at Harruckern Square and “Advent Magic” at PartyVarázs. From November 28–30, the Handicraft Market Yard hosts bustling Advent markets. On December 2, “Light of Advent” shines with a live charity concert, followed by Nektár Színház’s musical-dance Nutcracker on December 4.
