Discover Gyula’s historic downtown this July on guided Monday and Thursday walks that blend architecture, history, and small-city charm. Stroll cozy streets, hear local legends, and see the city’s most famous buildings and cultural landmarks on a relaxed, fully pedestrian route. All sites are viewed from the outside only.

Route & Landmarks

The tour sets off from the Tourinform office and winds through Városház Street, Harruckern Square, the World Clock, and Kossuth Square. Stops include the Kohán Gallery (Kohán Képtár), the Ladics House, the One Hundred Years Old Confectionery (Százéves cukrászda), City Hall, St. Nicholas Church, the 1848–49 Honvéd Officer Memorial, the Castle, the Castle Bath, and the Almásy Mansion. It’s an easygoing city walk, ideal for all ages who love historic sightseeing, atmospheric façades, and cultural discoveries.
