What you’ll see
The route includes: Tourinform Office – Városház Street (Városház u.) – Harruckern Square (Harruckern tér) – World Clock – Kossuth Square (Kossuth tér) – Kohán Gallery – Ladics House – the Hundred-Year-Old Confectionery – City Hall – St. Nicholas Church – 1848–49 Honvéd Officer Memorial – Castle – Castle Spa – Almásy Mansion. All sites are viewed from the outside only, but the blend of architecture and stories makes for a rich snapshot of Gyula.
When and how
Led by guide Gábor Bánkuti, walks run Mondays 16:30–18:30 and Fridays 14:00–16:00, lasting 120 minutes. Group size: 2–15 people. Departure: in front of the Tourinform Office. Sign up by 17:00 the previous day at the Tourinform Office (5700 Gyula, 7 Kossuth Street) or by phone at +36 66 561 681. Tickets cost 3,000 HUF per person and are sold exclusively at the Tourinform Office.
