Gyula is tuning up for a music-filled 2026, with easy-listening and classical concerts spread across multiple venues and festivals. All year, the city’s cultural scene is buzzing, and visitors can drift between folk, world, funk, film scores, punk rock, and plenty of pop and rock. Festival Highlights

July 10 kicks off with the Béla Halmos Folk and World Music Festival (Halmos Béla Népzenei és Világzenei Fesztivál), plus Hídfő Festival: Funk on the Shore with Robi Mult (Mult Robi). The Hídfő wave keeps rolling: Ring of Destiny teams up with Z. Moss Smith on July 11, while Chained returns July 17. Djentries hit July 18, and a Pontváró party with a Lackás concert lands July 23. The big one: Hídfő Festival’s 1st Punk Rock Weekend storms in July 24–25.

Nyári Korzó Nights

Nyári Korzó 2026 threads through the summer: Chained on July 13; pianist-composer Krisztián M. Vozár’s film music evening on July 16; Dominik Király – Sax Life on July 20; Alem Da Lemda and Last Band share July 29; Four Strings, One Voice (Négy húr, egy hang) on July 30; Torony Band and Kenton Band double up July 31. August brings Johnny Moonlight (Aug 3), Márton Tóth’s accordion and Mayfly (Aug 6), DiscoDrama and Heavenhike (Aug 8), Show & Bors (Aug 10), Young Gyula Virtuosos (Aug 13), Skorka Blue (Aug 17), Dirty Slippers and Z. Moss Smith Band (Aug 22), Ferenc Téglás and band (Aug 24), Infinitate, The Pepper Shop, Pluto Vibe, and Double T Band all on Aug 27, Too Much (Aug 28), then Dominik Király’s sax and the PowerBeat Percussion Ensemble close Aug 29.
