The castle, the summer theater, the famed thermal baths, and a city that worships pálinka and sausage keep stacking highlights month after month. From spring to autumn, the Castle Theater (Gyulai Várszínház) hosts festivals; the fortress programs run nearly year-round; and the Gyula Castle Spa (Gyulai Várfürdő) ranks among Hungary’s favorite healing baths.

November Highlights

2025.11.09 brings a Castle Tour with Dönci the Dachshund (Tacskó Dönci), then Ladics House serves up The Empress’s Teacup (Császárné csészéje). Across 2025.11.07–11.09, Gyula Castle guarantees programs, before the Castle Theater (Gyulai Várszínház) hosts RZ65, Zoltán Rátóti’s solo concert of the last 15 years’ songs on 2025.11.10. Return to Ladics House and its imperial teacup on 11.11, the same day New Town (Németváros) celebrates St. Martin’s Day.
On 11.12, Varázsének’s live music baby–mama class features Uncle Imi Hevesi, while Gyulakult welcomes Dr. Imre Csernus with BURNOUT? TRY NEW CHALLENGES! Tickets run about 5,900 HUF–5,900 HUF. Komló Restaurant pours a St. Martin’s Day wine dinner with Bolyki Winery on 11.13, followed by Romantika Bistro’s Dinner Melodies with Tibi Sztojka on 11.14. On 11.21, Romantika Bistro reprises Dinner Melodies, while the library opens Erzsébet Brittich’s Alone book event and exhibition. The castle’s guaranteed lineup returns 11.21–11.23. On 11.22: Castle by Candlelight; Talking Flowers – Treasures of Almásy Palace; Night Wellness; and Candlelit Castle Tours. Another Dönci tour lands 11.23.

Comedy Theater (Dumaszínház) brings Dániel Mogács’s solo night Ego on 11.27 (about 5,990 HUF–7,490 HUF).
