Badacsony sets the stage for Hungary’s most vibrant harvest celebration for the 61st time from September 12 to 14, 2025. Across multiple venues in and around Badacsony (Badacsony) and Badacsonytomaj (Badacsonytomaj), locals and visitors will toast the region’s wine culture and the hard work of grape growers.
Parade and Fun for All
The main highlight? Sunday’s huge harvest parade, kicking off at 10:00 AM from Badacsonytomaj (Badacsonytomaj) and proceeding down Highway 71. The spectacle features folk dance groups, legionnaires, Hungarian wine guilds, hussars, flag wavers, fire jugglers, horse-drawn carriages, and cheering brass bands, joined by delegations from neighboring villages.
Live Music, Games, and More
Friday night brings jazz and children’s concerts, while Saturday is all about games, family fun, and a festival opening ceremony before DJ Rádai takes over for the evening. Sunday offers a traditional parade, gala shows, and acoustic performances from top Hungarian artists Juli Horányi with Márk Horváth, as well as Zoltán Bereczki. Organizers may adjust the times or performers, but the festive spirit is guaranteed.
