Harvest Jamboree (Szüreti Zsibongó), Kiskunlacháza’s lively harvest festival, is back on September 26, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Cultural Center on 1 Paul Kinizsi (Kinizsi Pál) Street. This event isn’t just about celebrating the grape harvest—it’s a full-blown autumn bash for all ages. There will be storytellers sharing folktales, hands-on craft workshops, traditional skill games, and plenty of chances to experience classic Hungarian customs. You’ll even get the opportunity to learn folk dance right on the spot.
Nature Retreat at George Estate (György Birtok)
If you need an escape, George Estate (György Birtok) offers you 32 acres of pure relaxation. Wake up to the sound of birds, unwind under the shady trees, and chill out next to a huge fishing lake filled with fish that stretches across 25 acres. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, child or adult, you’ll find classic Hungarian treats and some special new ones to try.
