Old-School Fun, Tasty Treats
Stalls overflow with homemade cakes, strudels, and lángos, creating a full-on rural atmosphere—think pig slaughter demonstrations, tastings in village homes, and a bustling fair. Entry is free, and a tasting pass costs only about $2.70 (1000 HUF). Headlining concerts by the Candyman Duo and Dupla Kávé (Double Coffee) liven things up, while kids can enjoy the amusement park, get their faces painted, bounce in castles, or ride a pint-sized train.

The parade kicks off at 1 PM from Palóc Street (Palóc út), featuring horses, carriages, people in traditional dress, dancers, and masked merrymakers, sweeping through the Old Village (Ófalu). Folk dance and traditional performances start at 2 PM on the Pajtaárok (Barn Trench) stage, followed by a late-night Harvest Ball at the Dr. András Román Visitor Center.
