From September 12th to 14th, 2025, the main square of Little Cumania Fish City (Kiskunhalas) transforms for the Halas Harvest Festival (Halasi Szüreti Fesztivál). Finding Your Resting Place
Don’t worry about where to stay — options abound. The Betti Motel*** is tucked away in a quiet, leafy area, offering welcoming rooms and an apartment in two separate buildings, with a total of four rooms and three bathrooms. It’s perfect for business travelers or festival guests, whether for a short or long stay. The Lace Hotel (Csipke Szálloda) is located downtown in a peaceful park, so you can explore landmarks, shops, and cafés with just a quick stroll. Prefer nature? Head to the motel, inn, and campsite complex at the northern edge of town on the lake shore.

The local Wine Order is dedicated to introducing visitors to wines, sparkling wines, and brandies from the Little Cumania Fish City (Kiskunhalas) region, preserving winemaking traditions, and sharing stories of the Cumans (Kun people) and their redemption era. For food, the Mill Inn (Malom Csárda) welcomes everyone at the southern entrance of the city with a spacious terrace, a 60-seat private room, playground, free parking, and the spirit of a true traditional inn.
