Entry is by prior reservation only, so plan ahead to secure your spot.

Dates, Hours, and Price

The daily spa pass costs 15,900 HUF per person, which is about 43.60 USD. It’s valid Monday to Friday and on Sundays, 7:00–22:00, subject to capacity. Note: Saturday passes are not available. Published windows include February 16–20, 2026 (Monday–Friday), February 22, 2026 (Sunday), February 23–27, 2026 (Monday–Friday), and March 1, 2026 (Sunday), all in Hévíz. Additional dates may be added by the organizers, who reserve the right to change program details and timing.

What the Pass Includes

Your ticket provides unlimited use of the spa during your booked time. You’ll receive a bathrobe, towel, and sauna sheet, plus access to a covered parking area. At check-in, you’ll be issued a wristwatch-style access device for lockers and a card for robe/towel pickup—both are covered by a refundable cash deposit and must be returned at the spa reception to get your money back.

Pools to Drift Away In

There’s plenty to soak in: outdoor and indoor pools, a bubbling Jacuzzi, a medicinal thermal pool, a quiet relaxation pool, and a meditative pool designed for switching off completely. Whether you’re here for warm mineral waters or a gentle float, the variety keeps the pace slow and the mood mellow.

Sauna World, Turned Up

Heat lovers can work through a full circuit: classic Finnish sauna, steam bath, aroma-light sauna, laconium, garden sauna, and infrared sauna. Experience showers and a Kneipp footbath add contrast and circulation boosts. Sauna ceremonies are available, with the 17:00 pour typically open based on capacity and sign-up—check on arrival to claim a place.

Deposit and Check-In

A 4,000 HUF per-person deposit, about 11 USD, is payable in cash only. This covers the access wristwatch and the robe/towel card. Return both at the spa reception to get your deposit back. Without them, refunds won’t be processed.

Pros
+
Family-friendly vibe with mellow pools and calm spaces, great for teens and chill days with older kids
+
Internationally known Hungarian thermal culture gives you a classic “spa in Hungary” experience without booking a room
+
Hévíz is a famous spa town near Lake Balaton, so foreign visitors often know the area or pair it with a Balaton trip
+
No Hungarian required—staff at a five-star spa typically speak English, and the process (wristband, lockers) is straightforward
+
Easy arrival by car with covered parking included; public transport works via Budapest–Keszthely/Hévíz buses, then a short taxi
+
Good value for a luxury setting at about $44 for a full day, including robe/towel and a deep sauna lineup
+
Stacks up well against European spa days (Germany/Italy/Austria): broad sauna circuit, thermal pool, and long opening hours on weekdays and Sundays
Cons
Not ideal for little kids who want slides and splash zones—this is a quiet wellness scene, not a waterpark
Hévíz is less famous to U.S. travelers than Budapest or Vienna, so you’ll need to plan an extra travel leg
Reservation required and cash-only deposit (about $11) can be annoying if you rely on cards
No Saturday access and limited windows mean your itinerary has to bend around the schedule
