Keszthely (Keszthely) is turning up the fun next summer with its unique History Playhouse, a full-fledged experience park packed with modern games and hands-on adventures for kids and families. From August 25 to 31, the Bécsi Gate Street (Bécsi Kapu utca) venue will be filled with activities, making sure no one gets bored—especially kids between 2 and 10 years old. The southern wing features two craft rooms, perfect for preschool and school groups eager to get creative. Meanwhile, three rooms are dedicated to the “This Is What Cows Are Like” exhibition, where children can discover all about cattle, milk, and dairy in a playful setting.
The main attraction is a spacious 2,175-square-foot playhouse evoking the Festetics family history, with separate rooms designed for boys and girls. As a nod to noble boat-building traditions, a ship play structure with a slide, climbing frame, and drawing table stands ready for adventure. Talented animators lead creative, interactive programs daily for the whole family.
Themed Days for Every Mood
Each day brings a new theme. On Monday, kids choose their favorite story for a magical slide show at 10–11 AM and 3–4 PM. Tuesday is all about board games—hunters, detectives, and word wizards unite. Wednesday transforms children into their favorite storybook heroes with glitter tattoos or face painting. Test your animal knowledge on Thursday’s quiz, while Friday features treasure hunts both indoors and outdoors.
