The Göd Harvest Horse Festival (Gödi Szüreti Lovasfesztivál) is set for October 18, 2025, at Bottomless Lake (Feneketlen tó) in Göd, promising a fun-filled day for all ages. Festivities kick off at 11:00 with a concert by the Alma Band (Alma Együttes), followed by the introduction of the competing cooks at noon. Around 12:30, watch the festive horse parade wind through the area, then enjoy dance performances by the GDSE Dance Group (GDSE Tánccsoport) and Viki Halmi’s (Halmi Viki) dance group.
Family Fun and Food
A cooking competition takes center stage, with results revealed at 2:30 pm — no entry fee and no restrictions on what you cook! Contestants bring their own tools and ingredients, and each gets a 10×10 foot tent. Register by October 16 to take part. Kids will love the bouncy castle, rodeo bull, and city sightseeing train (11 am–3 pm).
Celebrate All Day Long
From playful games at 2:45 pm to a show by singer Mary Nótár (Nótár Mary) at 5 pm, plus DJ Sylvester spinning music all day, there’s something for everyone. Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule.
