Timișoara’s Hungarian Days is an annual celebration that unites the local Hungarian community and those with roots in the city (Temesvár). For four days, the neighborhoods are filled with concerts, plays, and fun for all ages, shining a light on Hungarian heritage while also highlighting today’s multicultural city life.
Cultural Showcase for Everyone
Organized by local families, artists, entrepreneurs, civil organizations, and institutions, the event is all about sharing Hungarian culture and traditions with the majority population and national minorities living in Timișoara (Temesvár). Every corner buzzes with rock, pop, jazz, operetta, and symphonic concerts, as well as theater, folk music and dance, book launches, film screenings, culinary tastings, and even sports tournaments.

Visitors love the Hungarian food corner and craft fair, offering high-quality Hungarian-style treats and goods. From September 25 to 28, 2025, Timișoara (Temesvár) becomes a vibrant festival ground, celebrating local values and shared history.
