You don’t even need to wait for showtime to soak up the atmosphere—drop in anytime for the vibe, the food, and superb sound quality. And when evening falls, things truly come alive. Concerts start at 8:00 PM, and from Tuesday to Saturday, the wildly popular jam sessions kick off after 10:00 PM.
October’s Star-Studded Nights
The second half of October is a whirlwind of premier Hungarian and international acts. On October 23, Papajazz and Glass of Jazz vol. 23 entice both wine and jazz lovers. The next day, catch the Free BJC Jam Session featuring the Lakatos Pecek Krisztián Trio, plus Harmónia Jazz Workshop (Harmónia Jazzműhely) with the Kata Lazsádi Quartet (Lazsádi Kata Quartet). October 25 delivers a double header: the Róbert Szakcsi Lakatos Trio (Szakcsi Lakatos Róbert Trio) and another Free BJC Jam with the József Pluto Horváth Trio (Horváth Pluto József Trio).
On October 26, the Budapest Jazz Orchestra partners with percussion powerhouse Gergő Borlai (Borlai Gergő) for a Buddy Rich Tribute, honoring Sándor Kármán (Kármán Sándor). The following days bring Nikoletta Szőke – Gipsy Queen Live (Szoke Nikoletta Gipsy Queen Live), the Gábor Szalay Organ Trio (Szalay Gábor Organ Trio), and radiocafé’s special Hari_drama. Wrap up the month with the ALERANT Jazz Night—Richárd Révész Latin Quartet (Révész Richárd Latin Quartet) featuring Yulaysi Miranda—and Harmónia Jazz Workshop (Harmónia Jazzműhely) with the Borbély-Dresch Quartet.
From November Onward: Legends and Surprises
November is bursting with excitement, from the electrifying Dave Holland Trio on November 3 to inventive projects like Tzumo Gypsy Dreams and Elsa Valle & Afrocando (Elsas Valle – Afrocando). Classical vibes sneak in with the MÁV Symphony Orchestra and their strings-focused concert.
