A monthly fix for jazz lovers lands in Pécs as the Metronome Jazz Club (Metronóm Jazz Klub) brings rotating lineups of Hungarian and international names to Zsolnay Quarter’s (Zsolnay Negyed) E78 concert hall. Expect acclaimed veterans and fresh contemporary acts in an intimate, reliable setting.
Next up: a celebrated duo returns
On 2025.11.06 at 20:00, the Europe-famous pairing of vocalist-songwriter Veronika Harcsa and guitarist Bálint Gyémánt takes the E78 stage. Harcsa graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy’s jazz department in 2008, then earned a master’s from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in 2014. Their current duo is her main project, with two albums to date and regular tours across Europe. Before that, her quartet, founded in 2005, released four highly praised records.
Restless, curious, versatile
Harcsa keeps shifting shapes: two albums with the experimental electronic trio Bin-Jip, plus an avant-garde project reimagining the poems of Lajos Kassák. The Harcsa–Gyémánt duo was selected for the Jazzahead! European Jazz Meeting showcase in Germany in 2015.
