when: 2026. March 6., Friday
where: Hungary, Müpa

A Budapest-born phenomenon since 2017, Jazzbois have sprinted from local stages to major international festivals, racking up millions of streams across their albums. On March 6, they level up with their first large-hall show at the Palace of Arts (Müpa), pairing their high-wire, groove-forward improvisation with a bespoke visual world devised by visual artist Balázs Lobot. Expect a fully synced audiovisual trip, built to amplify the trio’s fluid, beat-driven jazz experimentations.

Special guest: Corto.alto’s driving force

They’re joined by one of the UK’s most in-demand multi-instrumentalists, Liam Shortall, the Scottish-Spanish core of the post-jazz-fusion project Corto.alto. Shortall, whose boundary-pushing sound has drawn Mercury Prize attention, brings a brass-forward, club-savvy intensity that locks seamlessly with Jazzbois’ heady rhythms. The collaboration promises a set where live improvisation, breakbeat energy, and cinematic textures collide—part jazz session, part dance-floor fever dream.

One night only

With custom visuals, a heavyweight guest, and a rare large-scale setup, this is the moment Jazzbois scale up their world. March 6 at the Palace of Arts (Müpa): immersive, loud, and rigorously alive.

2025, adrienne
