Keszthely’s Goldmark Károly Cultural Center is rolling out a yearlong family program series at Fő tér 3, promising lively, creative, and genuinely useful events for the tiniest toddlers and their grown-ups. The lineup mixes weekly rhyme-and-play mornings, monthly free-play meetups, and a summer solstice craft party by Lake Balaton—welcoming locals and visitors all year.
Weekly Kerekítő Rhyme Sessions
Every Wednesday at 9:30, the GKMKK Great Hall turns into a gentle, musical playground for ages 0–3. Led by Attila Zólyomi, Kerekítő Mondókázó blends puppet skits, simple instruments, songs, and traditional nursery rhymes to spark movement, rhythm, and language. Spring-into-summer dates include 2026.05.27., 06.03., 06.10., 06.17., 06.24., and 07.01. Sessions are held in Keszthely at the Goldmark Károly Cultural Center’s Great Hall.
Mini-Manó Playhouse: Second Thursdays
On the second Thursday of each month at 10:00, the Great Hall hosts Mini-Manó Játszóház, a relaxed, drop-in playtime organized by Keszthely’s Health Visitor Service. It’s designed for moms and children up to age 3, offering open play, social connection, and gentle guidance from local health visitors. Upcoming Thursdays include 2026.06.11., 07.09., and 08.13. The vibe is unhurried and friendly—perfect for new parents and nap schedules.
Solstice Craft Night on the Lake
On 2026.06.19., 18:00–20:00, head to the grassy area behind the Music Pavilion on the Lake Balaton shoreline for Hold és Nap kreatív játszóház (Moon and Sun Creative Playhouse), part of the Saint John’s Night (Szent Iván-éj) celebrations. Led by Adél Tóth and open to children and adults, this hands-on, color-splashed workshop is free of charge. Bring curiosity; materials and festive summer energy are waiting.
