Year after year, locals and visitors alike eagerly await Kistarcsa’s signature festivals. Don’t miss the Kistarcsa Rooster Cooking Festival (Kistarcsai Kakasfőző Fesztivál), the Butcher Festival (Böllérfesztivál), the Potato Festival (Görhönyfesztivál), and the big City Day celebration—all known for authentic food, music, and a genuine community spirit.
October begins with a bus excursion to Attila Hill (Attila-domb) in Tápiószentmárton for residents with disabilities, departing from Youth Square (Ifjúság tér) at 9:00 am. That afternoon, the Slovak House (Szlovák Ház) on Rózsa Street (Rózsa utca) welcomes everyone for autumn activities, such as learning Slovak folk songs and corn husking at the folk playground, alongside classic Slovak dishes and a presentation of their Ethnographic Collection brochure at 3:00 pm.

The festivities continue on October 19 with a high-energy Tompeti and Friends (Tompeti és barátai) concert at Csigaház, with tickets at $9 each.
