Kistarcsa is buzzing this autumn with festivals, creative workshops, parties, and talks. Get ready for a community calendar packed with everything from traditional folk dances to Halloween fun and even tips on being a responsible cat owner.
Parades, Crafts and Family Fun
The celebration kicks off on October 25 with the Harvest Parade and Ball, where the Pannonia Folk Dance Ensemble (Pannónia Néptáncegyüttes) brings folk traditions to the streets. On October 27, parents with little ones can head to the library for the Baba-Mama-Papa Club from 10 am to noon for toddler activities.
From October 27-31, local teens aged 16-20 can dive into felt jewelry workshops over five sessions at the Pilgrims’ Training Center (Zarándokképző Központ), in the old Civil House.
Halloween fever hits the Snail House (Csigaház) on October 31, inviting all ages to a party from 10 am to 2 pm.
Creative Talks & Local Talent
The Deáktanya lecture series returns on October 30, with Krisztina Majorné Nyulász sharing the 60-year history of the Corvin Art Circle (Corvin MűvészKör) artists’ association.
On November 6, László Lauer talks about his journey from scouting to amateur woodcarving, with works exhibited at the Kistarcsa Days (Kistarcsai Napok).
Later, on November 13, Gábor Petercsák gives a glimpse into the world of stem cell therapy, an approach that has changed over 100 million lives globally.

Dávid Dennis Musimbe headlines an evening show, “Ezt benéztem!” with MC László Lovász on November 14 at the Snail House (Csigaház), with tickets from $19.
