Kistarcsa kicks off 2026 with events for every age group at multiple venues in the 2143 postal code area. Expect family and kids’ events, youth and adult activities, plus a vibrant cultural lineup all year long. Festivals, craft workshops, markets, and plenty of relaxing entertainment will keep things buzzing from April through December. Highlights include free lectures at Deáktanya, computer classes for seniors over 65 at Csigaház, quizzes, exhibitions, sports, tours, and memorials. A total of 275 events await—organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs!
April 2026 Highlights
Start with the Baba-Mama Book Club on April 13 at the Municipal Library. Computer courses for seniors over 65 run on April 15, 17, 22, and 24 at Csigaház. Catch Tillmann Kinga’s Hátizsákkal Dél-Amerikában (Backpacking in South America) on April 16, Telekiné Kovács Ágnes on Mátyás király corvinái (King Matthias’s Corvinas) on April 23, and Kardos Ferenc on child protection stories on April 30—all free Deáktanya talks, open to everyone, with the option to join the Kistarcsai Kulturális Egyesület. Retro Quiz Night at Csigaház on April 17. Kistarcsai painters’ exhibition April 18-19. April 25 brings the Sportnapok running race, wine tour (Bortúra), and Spring Performance Hike.
May-June 2026
Lakatos László’s Megjöttem (I’m Back) solo show with Oliver Wolf opener rocks Dumaszínház at Csigaház on May 8 for $21. Birth stool unveiling on May 10.
