The Magic Garage is shaking up the local alternative music scene. It all kicked off in 2024 as an underground party, but returns this year officially at ATNO Forge (1044 Budapest (Budapest), Zsilip Street 17) on Saturday, August 16.
Bands, Raw Energy, and Genre Chaos
More than just a festival, Magic Garage brings together bands who not only share the stage, but also work side by side to energize Hungary’s guitar-driven scene. Expect fuzzy sounds, raw live sets, and a wild mix of genres. The lineup: Bufo Alvarius, Waiting Room, Hocuspony, Kairos, Berlin Hotel Collective, and BBQBOB.
More Than Just Music
It’s not all about the jams. You’ll find kombucha, coffee, live tattooing, creative workshops, and psychedelic visuals from the Pontaszembe (Eye to Eye) collective, rounding out a day that’s sure to be anything but ordinary.
