The Zsolnay Quarter in Pécs is turning science into an adventure for kids with a series of interactive Magic Hour (Varázsóra) shows. Held on the scenic promenade next to the Visitor Center at 16 Zsolnay Vilmos Street, these dynamic presentations bring the most popular and visually spectacular physical science experiments to life. The 45-minute sessions are recommended for children ages 7 and up, but there’s plenty for adults to enjoy as well. Each show features unique surprise experiments, so even repeat visitors will find something new.

The program runs on multiple dates: October 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30 in 2025. Highlights include “Favorite Experiments,” “Shocking Experiments,” “Let’s Do Magic with Light!” and “We Can’t Live Without Magnetism!” Whether kids are fascinated by glowing lights or magnetic forces, there’s a themed show tailored for every budding scientist.
