Metallica storms back to Budapest after an eight-year break with a two-night stand at Puskás Arena (Puskás Aréna), packing fresh firepower into their long-running M72 tour. The shows hit on June 11 and June 13, transforming the stadium at 1146 Budapest, 3–5 Istvánmezei Road (Istvánmezei út 3–5.) into a thrash metal battleground. This is year four of the M72 run, and the band’s not repeating itself: both concerts deliver completely different setlists, staging vibes, and opening acts.
Two Nights, Zero Repeats
Night one brings a heavyweight warm-up, with Pantera and Avatar setting the fuse before Metallica detonates. Two days later, the lineup flips hard: Gojira and Knocked Loose prime the crowd for another full-throttle, no-overlap Metallica set. It’s designed for double-dippers—same venue, different experience.
