Budapest is gearing up for the spectacular Music and Wine (Zene-Bor) celebration on December 30, 2025, as the world-famous 100-Member Romani Orchestra (100 Tagú Cigányzenekar) delivers its 29th annual year-end gala. Known for their jaw-dropping virtuosity and a sound unmatched anywhere else, their tradition continues strong, filling the Budapest Congress Center with music lovers each year.

An Unforgettable Musical Feast

The concert’s two-part program blends virtuosic Romani melodies with classical favorites and uniquely orchestrated folk genres—possible only with the 100-Member Orchestra’s signature style. This season, the tradition continues with highlights from operetta legends Franz Lehár and Imre Kálmán, sung by stars from the Budapest Operetta Theatre. Fiery performances conclude with the audience-favorite Nightingale (Pacsirta) and the Radetzky March, led by master violinist József Lendvai Csócsi and topped off with fireworks.

A Culinary Experience with the Music

Every guest is welcomed with a drink, and those hungry for more than just music can savor a festive four-course wine dinner. Dishes include goose liver torchon with candied orange chutney, guinea fowl consommé, bacon-wrapped Mangalica pork tenderloin with gratin potatoes and porcini sauce, and a pumpkin seed choux dessert with raspberries. Bread, savory butter, white, red, and rosé wine, mineral water, and coffee round out the spread. Cold dinner platters featuring goose liver, Mangalica ham, salmon gravlax, goat cheese tart, and eggplant (aubergine) tartare are available in select categories. Vegetarian menus are available on request.

Seating, Tickets, and Prices

Tickets range from exclusive VIP eight-person tables with dinner and wine ($230) to balcony-only concert seats ($49–$225). Organizers reserve the right to adjust table sizes if needed. The event takes place at the Novotel Budapest City & Congress Center, with support from KOCH Winery, representing the Hajos-Baja (Hajós-Bajai) and Villany (Villány) regions.

Doors open at 6:30 PM with a welcome drink; the concert and dinner start at 7:00 PM, and the night wraps up after a dazzling show and feast.
