Music and Tribute Nights
May 4 opens with The Classics of Love, a concert by the Danubia Orchestra. The Zala Symphony Orchestra follows on May 21. On May 29, The Music of Ludovico Einaudi Tribute delivers minimalist elegance, while Orfeum Traveling Stage (Orfeum Vándorszínpad) presents Nóta, Mámor, Szerelem on May 27.
Theater Highlights
Magic Ritmo joins the Honvéd Casino City Stage for Miklós Tibor and Tibor Kocsák’s Be Good Until Death (Légy jó mindhalálig) on May 8 and again on May 12 at 9:30 and 13:30. Premier Theater (Premier Színház) stages A Burglar Is My Fiancée (Betörő a menyasszonyom) on May 9. Francis Veber’s The Dinner Game (Balfácánt vacsorára) arrives May 13, and Anthony Neilson’s The Last Match (Az utolsó menet) closes the month on May 30.
Talks, Comedy, Dance
May 5 features Petra Vági’s In the Prison of Our Schemas. The Sándor Hevesi Memorial Days run May 5–6. On May 7, Zoltán Papócsi maps budget travel from the Dolomites to Sicily, followed by Jajemília’s stand-up Proles and Peasants (Prolik és parasztok). May 16 celebrates Dance Day.
