Autumn Highlights

October kicks off with “Szeret, vagy nem szeret? Szeretetnyelv-leckék” (Love Me, Love Me Not? Love Language Lessons, Relationship Improv Game), and continues with travel presentations, commemorations of the 1956 Revolution, and LOUPE Theatre’s tragicomedy “TITKOSSZOLGÁK” (Secret Agents). Fall also brings World Heart Day, the comedy “HATAN PIZSAMÁBAN” (Six in Pyjamas), fascinating travel lectures from Sulawesi to Easter Island, and the JazzKanizsa festival.

Winter Must-Sees

There’s no slowing down as winter arrives. November offers the “Kultúr-kocsmatúra” (Cultural Pub Crawl), Grecsó Krisztián’s “EgyÉletem” (My One Life), tribute concerts for legends Zsuzsa Cserháti and Péter Máté, plus a solo evening with Zoltán Kőhalmi (tickets $21–$23). Prepare for double magic shows and a festive “Sisi karácsonya” (Sisi’s Christmas) at the Hevesi Sándor Cultural Center ($41). December features Góbé with the city choir ($13.50), the epic HAVASI Piano Show, an Advent concert by Adrien Szekeres at Jesus Heart Church ($27.50), and a lecture by Kató Kiss.

Spring into Culture

2026 kicks off strong with Magda Szabó’s “Abigél” ($27.50), candlelight concerts featuring Harry Potter, Bridgerton, Vivaldi, and Ennio Morricone at Medgyaszay House ($35–$41). Enjoy “Operett muzsika” (Operetta Music) and the lively “Húzzad csak, kivilágos virradatig” (Play Your Violin Till Sunset) folk dance. The program truly has something for everyone, no matter what you’re into!
