Lajosmizse fills the calendar with food, music, science, and crafty weekends from November into spring. The headline act: Libabőr Festival (Libabőr Fesztivál) at the Old Farm Inn (Öreg Tanyacsárda) on November 8–9, 11, and 15–16, serving goose, wine, and unfiltered cheer. The tasting menu ranges from a chilled goose sampler with spiced potatoes and vegetables (paired with Pátzay Csíny 2024) to ginger goose soup with matzo balls; oven-baked foie gras with crispy onion rings and roast potatoes (Vylyan Kakas 2024); oven-roasted goose leg with spiced potatoes and braised cabbage (Tűzkő Blaufränkisch 2021); a goose feast platter for two (Vylyan Cabernet Sauvignon 2018); and aranygaluska with vanilla custard (Grand Tokaj Muscat Blanc 2023).

November 9 salutes “40 Years of the National Choir (Nemzeti Énekkar).” On November 21: “Two in One! (Kettő az egyben!)” by Szomszédnéni Produkciós Iroda, hosted by Balázs Hajdú (USD 16.0–20.1). December 11 brings a Kati Kovács concert, and December 14 stages Hans Christian Andersen: The Little Match Girl (A kis gyufaárus lány) by the Drámázni ér Társulat—free with registration.
