On May 9, 2026, Ócsa turns up the volume with the Gas-Fume Festival and Women’s Sun Lounge, a one‑afternoon mash‑up of motorcycles, cars, rock music, and street‑party vibes. It kicks off with a showy local parade, then from 13:00 the music‑and‑engines afternoon takes over in front of Egressy, along Bajcsy‑Zsilinszky Street between numbers 32 and 73. Entry is free—bring your band tee and your best rock mood.
Where to Plant Yourself
The action spans both sides of Bajcsy‑Zsilinszky Street 32–72, plus the Egressy terrace at Bajcsy‑Zsilinszky Street 46–48. Start time: 13:00. It’s an all‑ages street scene with machines to ogle and riffs to ride.
Live Rock That Hits the Gas
15:00 – László Csákvári and band. The so‑called Hungarian Bryan Adams channels the Canadian rock star’s global hits with big‑chorus energy.
17:00 – Érzés. A thunderbolt through Edda Művek’s legendary bakancsos (combat‑boot) era, straight to the heart of classic Hungarian rock.
19:00 – CandyMen Duo. Just two players, full‑tilt concert feel. Rockabilly, rock, pop, country, and blues—laced with humor and a proper show. Line‑up: Schiffler Patrik (Ricky) on vocals and double bass; Tom White on harmonica and acoustic guitar.
Machines on Parade
Expect a rolling gallery of automotive love: classic cars, the newest Mustangs, tuned builds, Harley‑Davidsons, American cars from multiple eras, small and big adventure 4x4s, sports cars, mean trikes, and humble but lovable shed‑rescued bikes. A mini traffic education course and kids’ yard welcome future road users. And yes—the beloved blue Ikarus bus returns to service after last year’s hit run.
Eat, Sip, Repeat
Fueled by last year’s success, the street‑food lineup expands. Cocktails come courtesy of A Bisztró’s beefed‑up bar, keeping the shakers moving till the amps cool down.
Dress the Part
Audience game: throw on your favorite rock band T‑shirt and help conjure the golden age of rock. This year adds a rockabilly twist, plus a dance challenge. Polka dots are forever—so wear your favorite dotted dress and swing with it.
Heads-Up
