Ócsa’s Open Cellars Day takes over the Öreghegy Cellar Row on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 22:00, pouring local wine and small-town pride into a day-long street festival. Expect cellar doors flung open, a wine contest, cooking and pálinka showdowns, concerts, dance, craft stalls, a buffet row, family fun, and a nostalgia bus linking Ócsa and Cellar Row (Pincesor) from 12:00 to 20:00. Entry is free, with supporter tickets on sale from 10:00 to 20:00.
Morning rites and cellar buzz
At 10:00, a commemoration and wreath-laying at the cross: greeting by Roman Catholic parish priest Valerian Mihoc, blessing of the cross, and songs by the Ócsa Folk Song Circle. At 10:20, the cellars open with help from the Folk Song Circle and the Decibel Band.
