Every weekend, the Leányfalu Thermal Bath transforms into one of Hungary’s best places to unwind after dark. Every Friday and Saturday night, from 8 PM to midnight, the bath opens its doors to late-night visitors looking for something different. Whether you’re young or old, arriving alone or with a group of friends, this is the spot for anyone who wants to break the weekend routine and soak beneath the stars to live music.

What’s On Offer?

In addition to the warm-water adventure pool for splashing around and the healing thermal pool renowned for its calming, pain-relieving properties, the Sauna House (Szaunaház) is also open. There’s a hot sauna and a steam room, perfect for sweating out the workweek’s stress. Both locals and visitors swear by Leányfalu’s mineral-rich waters, known for easing nerve and muscle pain, letting you completely disconnect from reality for a few hours.

Schedule and How It Works

Nighttime bathing takes place every Friday and Saturday, from 8:00 PM to midnight. Both the medicinal and adventure pools are open until 11:45 PM. If you’re coming for the evening atmosphere, you have a 2.5-hour window (8:00 PM to 10:30 PM) to buy your ticket, so don’t show up fashionably late expecting to come in after that.

Standard entry for the nighttime experience costs $13.50 (5,000 HUF) for the whole evening, no matter how long you soak. Just remember: if you have a season pass, it won’t be valid during these after-dark sessions—no passes accepted! The organizers reserve the right to change dates and programs, but the vibe remains consistent: chill, social, and uniquely relaxing.

Where to Crash After?

If you don’t want to drive home all pruney after your moonlit dip, Leányfalu has cozy, professional guesthouses and one standout hotel just a short walk from the baths and the Danube. The main guesthouse offers six rooms and can accommodate up to fourteen people. It feels just like coming home—with a family atmosphere to match—but the service and accommodations are fully professional.

The three-star Villa Székely hotel, in the heart of the Danube Bend (Dunakanyar), is just minutes from the bath. It’s popular with young couples, big families, and even grandparents tagging along. The location is perfect for anyone looking to combine countryside calm with a touch of luxury, all within a short walk of the mineral pools and the river.

So, if your Fridays or Saturdays need a mood boost, skip the bar tabs and soak in hot water—Leányfalu style.
