Add classic French salad, salty snack nibbles to warm up, and a handcrafted dessert to seal the deal.
Between 00:15 and 01:00 the tradition kicks in: money-bringing New Year’s lentil stew with homemade smoked sausage and fresh Matyó bread—for a lucky start to the year.
Music, Mood, Mayhem
The vibe is engineered by József Czaga, who flips between live sets and DJ action, spinning the biggest Hungarian and international hits of the last 30–40 years. It starts at 20:00 and goes until 3:00. You won’t freeze: the interior is a heated, 500 m² space, perfect for a winter rave-up. The night is a private event capped at 150 people.

Stay the Night: Local Picks
If the party runs late, Bogács has room. The Jurta Holiday Center takes its name from three round, yurt-shaped buildings ideal for larger groups housed in smaller rooms; five duplex houses offer 10 apartments, with one yurt and one apartment house accessible. The Bogács Spa and Beach Bath’s new Stream-Party Apartments (Patak-party Apartmanok) sit on the west side, near the rear entrance—eight upstairs studios (seven doubles with extra-bed options, plus a two-room family unit) accommodate 18+7 guests. The winterized Thermal Camping and Cabins run year-round on the north side of the bath, hosting around 250 tents and caravans under shady trees, with cabins available through all seasons. The revamped Thermal Guesthouse (Thermál Panzió) delivers nine superior rooms—eight doubles (one accessible) and a two-room family option—and an upgraded 50-person conference room for symposia, team-building, and social or family events. The Bogács Thermal Hotel (Bogácsi Thermál Szálló; Apartments) spans two buildings on the east and west sides of the bath, with 18 rooms for two, three, or four people, most with extra-bed possibilities. For a quiet corner near the sports field and the cellar row, Akác Guesthouse offers bathrooms, WC, a big living room, cable TV, Wi‑Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen for 6–8 people, plus a grassy yard, closed parking, covered terrace, and garden grilling—great for families and friends.

From Halloween antics to goose feasts and the all-out New Year’s Retro Party, Hintóvölgye serves the region’s soul on plates and playlists. Book early, dress for fun, and let the night carry you.
