On October 18, the fun kicks off with “Ladies’ Night RETRO DISCO,” followed by “Live Music, Hungarian Retro” on the 24th—plus the opening of the “Pan-Fried Food Festival” from noon. October 25 brings “DJ DOMINIQUE TOTAL RETRO,” so expect a packed dance floor.
November starts strong with “Halloween VIDEO DISCO with Witches” on the 1st, and the 7th features “Live Music, Hungarian Retro” again, along with the opening of the “St. Martin’s Day Goose Festival” (Márton-napi Libafesztivál) at noon. For those eager to squeeze every last drop out of the party season, November 8 rounds off with the SEASON FINALE! “Night of Hits”—a blowout of live music and DJ sets.
Epic New Year’s Eve: Food, Drinks, and Retro Bangers
No one does New Year’s Eve quite like this! On December 31, kick off with the “New Year’s Eve Night of Hits – RETRO PARTY.” This event promises unlimited drinks all night—yes, basically bottomless everything: Jim Beam, Jägermeister, Unicum classic/flavored, Bacardi, Captain Morgan, Finlandia Vodka, Sierra Tequila, Beefeater Gin, Baileys, local liqueurs, craft pálinka (fruit brandy), beers, select bottled wines, Coca-Cola products, sodas, and coffee.
Feasting is just as serious as the partying. Every table—sized for your group—is loaded with cold meat and cheese platters featuring Black Forest ham, breaded mozzarella-stuffed chicken breast, sausage-stuffed Csaba-style pork loin (Csabai sertéstarja), homemade meatballs, fried Trappist cheese, potato salad with red onions, French salad, savory snacks to welcome guests, and handmade desserts. And because no Hungarian New Year’s is complete without lucky food, a lentil stew with smoked sausage and fresh Matyó bread (Matyó kenyér) is served between 12:15–1:00 am.
Music That Never Quits, Space to Party
The atmosphere is legendary, thanks to live sets and DJ playlists curated by József Czaga (Czaga József), spinning massive Hungarian and international hits from the past 30–40 years. The celebration starts at 8:00 pm and rolls until 3:00 am in a heated, 5,300-square-foot indoor space—keeping the vibe alive even in the dead of winter. Admission is exclusive and capped at 150 people, so book fast.
Tickets for the New Year’s bash cost $87 per person until December 10, increasing to $95 after that. The event sells out every year—book early or miss out! Deposits (50%) are due by transfer or cash (arrange during opening hours). Tables are guaranteed for groups of four or more, and large parties—up to 30—can push tables together, while smaller groups have seats assigned by the organizers. Cancellations up to December 10 cost $14 per person; after that, the deposit is non-refundable.
Year-Round Club Events, Security & Access
It’s not just about the highlights. From October through December, regular themed nights keep Bogács buzzing. Tickets for other events usually range from $4–$8, depending on performers, and are purchased on site. Club hours are Fridays and Saturdays, 5:00 pm–3:00 am (even on Easter and Pentecost Sunday), and until midnight on weekdays in July and August. The kitchen serves daily from 5:00–9:30 pm, and dinner guests can stay in the club’s inner zone for free until 9:45 pm—after that, it’s party time and you’ll need a ticket.
Strict face control is enforced—security ensures that only guests ready for a good time get in and reserves the right to deny entry.
Stay Where the Action Is: Local Accommodations
