Budapest hosts the MÁV Symphony Orchestra Cello Ensemble’s New Year Concert at the Eötvös10 Cultural Center on Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM. In Miskolc, the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra and the National Theatre team up for New Year Concerts on Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM, Saturday, January 10 at 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM, and again Sunday, January 11 at 5:00 PM in nearby Felsőzsolca. Budapest’s KMO Cultural Center brings “Kispesti Újévi koncert 2026 – Mi muzsikus lelkek” on Sunday, January 11 at 4:00 PM. That evening, the Sabbathsong Klezmer Band lights up the Uránia National Film Theatre with “Több mint klezmer” at 6:00 PM, while Hot Jazz Band, Orsi Kozma, and György Oravecz swing through Szentendre’s County Library at 6:00 PM.
