The Original Golden Voices of Gospel launch a whirlwind of New Year joy. They bring soul-lifting harmonies to Budapest’s Budapest Congress Center on Tuesday, January 6 at 7:00 PM; Szombathely’s Cathedral of Our Lady of the Snows (Sarlós Boldogasszony-székesegyház) on Wednesday, January 7 at 8:00 PM; Miskolc’s House of the Arts on Thursday, January 8 at 7:00 PM; Debrecen’s Reformed Great Church on Monday, January 12 at 7:00 PM; and Szeged’s Votive Church (Dóm) on Tuesday, January 13 at 8:00 PM.

Budapest hosts the MÁV Symphony Orchestra Cello Ensemble’s New Year Concert at the Eötvös10 Cultural Center on Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM. In Miskolc, the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra and the National Theatre team up for New Year Concerts on Friday, January 9 at 7:00 PM, Saturday, January 10 at 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM, and again Sunday, January 11 at 5:00 PM in nearby Felsőzsolca. Budapest’s Klebelsberg Kultúrkúria sets the tone with “Bécsi vér, magyar szív…” (Viennese Blood, Hungarian Heart) on Saturday, January 10 at 7:00 PM, while the Duna Symphonica Chamber Orchestra plays a New Year program the same night at the Klebelsberg Castle.

The György Solti Orchestra with the Divertimento Chamber Orchestra presents a gala at Budapest’s MOM Cultural Center on Wednesday, January 14 at 6:00 PM. Budapest’s Müpa hosts a New Year encore on Sunday, January 11 at 11:30 AM and a full New Year Concert at 7:30 PM, and returns with the Grand Chinese New Year Concert on Friday, February 27 at 7:30 PM.

Budapest’s KMO Cultural Center brings “Kispesti Újévi koncert 2026 – Mi muzsikus lelkek” on Sunday, January 11 at 4:00 PM. That evening, the Sabbathsong Klezmer Band lights up the Uránia National Film Theatre with “Több mint klezmer” at 6:00 PM, while Hot Jazz Band, Orsi Kozma, and György Oravecz swing through Szentendre’s County Library at 6:00 PM. The legendary 100 Member Gypsy Orchestra joins soprano Mónika Fischl at Budapest’s Gábor Klauzál Cultural Center on Sunday, January 11 at 7:00 PM.
