Gyöngyöstarján Mineral Tour
On October 26, 2025, join a mineral hunt in Gyöngyöstarján—several collecting sites are reached after easy walks ranging from 0.6 to 1.8 miles. Dig up agate, different varieties of quartz crystals, chalcedony, jasper, opal, and geyserite. Meet at 10:00 AM in the parking lot opposite the Gyöngyöstarján Cemetery (Petőfi Street), on the empty lot at the end. The tour runs until 2:00 PM, rain or shine.
