On July 5, a unique running event called Runchitect will take place, organized by the Banati + Hartvig Architect Office (Bánáti + Hartvig Építész Iroda). This 4- to 5-kilometer (about 2.5–3.1 mile) run isn’t just about sports—it turns the city into your personal playground for architectural discovery.
Architectural Adventure With a Twist
Participants join expert-led tours during the run, offering an inside look at the park’s most iconic spots, including hidden gems and legendary buildings. The route reveals the stories behind the area’s striking structures, blending exercise with a healthy dose of culture.
Starting Line and Free Refreshments
The run kicks off at a designated meeting point in the park and circles back there, where refreshments await every finisher. Best of all, participation is free—but spots are limited, so registration is a must. Everything takes place as part of the lively EDGE Fest.
