Budapest’s Palace of Wonders (Csodák Palotája) is throwing open its doors this Saturday, November 1, 2025, and it’s basically a full-day cheat code for family fun. Head to 1036 Budapest, Mátyás Király Road (Mátyás király út) 24, and dive into a science experience center where the games start at age 3 and keep teens hooked too. Your ticket covers entry to the Öveges Stage shows, and yes, there are four of them a day. Come play, compete, and discover surprising skills you didn’t know you had—maybe your kid, your partner, or you are secretly a logic ninja.

Do-Everything Playground

This place is built for trying, touching, twisting, and laughing. Climb into the weird-wheeled car and see if it rattles beneath you. Conquer the Mirror Maze, blend your faces together, and shake your own hand with one hand. Park yourself in a Moon Rover, snap a selfie with legendary scientists, and multiply into a hundred yous inside the Giant Kaleidoscope. Stand in the middle of infinity in the Mirror Room, test your logic, and find out who’s the bravest fakir. Walk on clouds using the Flying Reflection, crank up a vortex, and go for air basketball. Don’t miss the Öveges Stage demos, running four times daily. Then suit up in the Richter Gedeon lab—coat on, goggles on—and dive into thrilling hands-on experiments. And yes, there’s even more to discover.

Stage Shows That Pop (Literally)

11:00 Bubble Show: What is a bubble? Why is it round? How big can it get? And how does a water strider stay afloat? Learn bubble physics, watch giant bubbles, see glowing bubbles, and get the secret formula for perfect bubble liquid.
13:00 Spectacular Science: Maximum spectacle and excitement. Enter a world ruled by the wild laws of physics as the presenter serves up favorite experiments.
15:00 Richter Gedeon Science Show: Physics meets chemistry for the most explosive highlights and crowd-pleasing demos.
17:00 Glowing Stage: Meet flames and heat safely. Fiery experiments for even the youngest viewers—do not try these at home.

Make a Day of It

Your CSOPA ticket lets you spend the whole day exploring. Plan on 3–4 carefree hours—or go all in and stay from open to close.
