Every Wednesday, the Bocskai Museum in Hajdúszoboszló opens its doors for free guided tours led by the expert curators who design the exhibitions. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, visitors can join hourly tours and discover fascinating behind-the-scenes stories and background information about the exhibits.
What to Expect
Step inside the Princely Treasury (Fejedelmi Kincstár) to see authentic replicas of István Bocskai’s crown and scepter—crafted from gold and precious stones. At the Retro Exhibition, get behind the wheel of a real Trabant in a unique driving simulator. History buffs can handle the traditional weapons of the legendary Hajdú soldiers, while at the ethnographic display, you’re welcome to try on traditional folk costumes. Art lovers will be amazed by original works from Picasso and Chagall.
