Siófok on Lake Balaton’s south shore lines up a full-throttle summer for 2026. The week of June 15–21 kicks off with outdoor city adventure games that turn sightseeing into a clue-chasing romp for friends and families, plus daily boat trips gliding out of Siófok’s harbor. By Friday, Plázs Siófok, the town’s iconic beach venue, lights up: Neoton hits the stage June 19 from 19:00 to 23:00, while the same night Metzker & Friends opens its Friday series in the Plázs Aréna with Viktória Metzker (Metzker Viktória), Milán Koósz (Koósz Milán), Mario, Pixa, and the K-OSZ TV crew on site.
Lavender fans get their fix across two weekends at ÉnKertem’s Lavender Harvest (June 19–21 and June 26–28) at 136 Diófás út. The wellness-leaning Everness Festival (Everness Fesztivál) also lands in Siófok June 19–28, stretching across ten days of mindful vibes by the water.
Saturday, June 20 packs in the 2nd Siófok Mölkky Championship (II. Siófoki Mölkky Bajnokság) from 13:00 in the József Beszédes School park, with winning teams taking home real-deal Mölkky sets and a bonus Finnish quiz for the bold. Music spills into the streets the same day at the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade (2. Utcazene Kavalkád): multiple city spots, live acts in mixed genres, and an easygoing festival spirit invite you to wander, pause for a song, and let the soundtrack guide you. Nightfall brings the Party Boat (Bulihajó) disco cruise from the Boat Station (Hajóállomás), and Pogány Induló rocks Plázs. Siófok Walks (Siófoki séták) guided tours round off the day.
From June 22, the city adventure game and boat tours roll on through the week, and a free “green” city walk on June 25 unlocks building tales, park legends, riddles, and code-breaking with Siófok’s chief city gardener. June 26 features a high-energy dance showcase by BNK (Katinka Bódis-Nagy; Bódis-Nagy Katinka) at the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center, themed Summer, Balaton, Popular Hits – How Could I Live Without You?
Festival Weekends at Plázs
AstroFest storms Plázs Siófok June 26–27 with a multi-stage blitz. Friday’s main stage brings Bruno x Spacc, ValMar, Bréda Bia, Luca Mihályfi (Mihályfi Luca), and Blansch; the Party Aréna hosts Viktória Metzker & Friends, Milán Koósz, Vini, and Pumped Gabo; the Sand (Homok) stage features Chrstphr, Dumbo, Jauri, and Johanna Bozai; Kisplázs goes One Dance; VIP + pool flows with DJ Slaager. Saturday loads KKeverin (KKevin), T. Danny, VZS, and K-OSZ Disco on the main stage; Party Aréna calls in Buda + Don1ka, Shyb 5 Star, Hazetomika, Mollywood, Grasa, Ekhoe, and Alprite; Homok drops Belano, CFL, Kollár, and StadiumX; Kisplázs turns Pusziland; VIP + pool brings Ranger. June 27 repeats the Siófok Walks and disco boat, and June 28 splits the day: a coin collectors’ meet (the 35th national gathering) 08:00–12:00 at Gyula Krúdy Vocational Secondary School (Krúdy Gyula Szakgimnázium), and St. Martin in concert at 17:00 in the Evangelical Church.
Musicals, Comedy, Retro and Street Beats
Early July keeps the pace. City games and boat trips cycle weekly; the Party Boat sails multiple nights. July 1 plants a theater flag with American Comedy (Amerikai komédia – swing musical) by Veres 1 Színház at the Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage, 5 Jókai Park, at 21:00. Set aboard the La Paz luxury liner in 1938 New York-to-Monte Carlo high society, it whirls through big money, tangled hearts, and relentless swing. Cast includes Kata Janza/Mónika Horváth (as Tony Roe), Kornél Simon (as Frank Anderson), and more. Directed by Károly Peller; 100 minutes plus intermission. July 2 brings Krisz Rudi – Homokba rajzolt szerelem, an exclusive big concert at Plázs, with AK26 guesting, doors at 19:00. July 3 doubles down: Siófok Walks, BSW and the Gang on the main beach stage, then Metzker & Friends with BSW’s Gaben (DJ set), Bogi Nagy (Nagy Bogi), and Milán Koósz. July 4 stacks a kids’ pirate-and-magic boat, Dzsúdló at Plázs, and another night disco cruise.
Jazz, Motors, Techno and Color Blasts
From July 10–12, the New Orleans Jazz Festival (New Orleans Jazz Fesztivál) swings into town while the 10th Balaton Babetta Tour (X. Balaton Babetta Túra) lines up moped lovers at the BAHART marina. July 10 also splits choices: Siófok Walks; TechnoMatch at Plázs from 23:00 with Henrieta Fogel, Vuiiitka, Mario Baric, Ervo, Spica, and Bohnicsek; Róbert Szikora and R-GO (Szikora Róbert és az R-GO) on the main beach stage; and Metzker & Friends with Mollywood, Hazetomika, and Milán Koósz. July 11–12 paints the sands at the Ultra Color Festival (ULTRA COLOR FESTIVAL), alongside recurring kids’ and party boat sailings.
Stage Classics and Night Rides
July 9 sets Fiddler on the Roof (Hegedűs a háztetőn) by Vörösmarty Theatre (Vörösmarty Színház) at 21:00, rain date July 10, at the Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage. Tevye’s family faces rising antisemitism, pogroms, and forced migration. Tickets 9,000–14,000 HUF (about 25–39 USD). The same night: an Evening Chill (Esti Chill) sunset cruise, and Mobb Deep hits Plázs, doors 19:00.
July 15, The Jungle Book (A dzsungel könyve) by Pannon Castle Theatre (Pannon Várszínház) arrives at 20:00 (rain date July 16). Mowglis, panthers, and tigers mirror society with fierce honesty and humor. Tickets 7,000–10,000 HUF (about 19–28 USD).
July 17 layers the party: Plázs Boat Siófok (Plázs Hajó Siófok); actor-director Róbert Koltai’s Am I Never Going to Die? July 18 invites families back to the kids’ boat and launches the Night Mini Loop (Iccakai Kiskör) bike tour. Meet at the Water Tower (Víztorony) for on-site registration 18:00–21:00; roll at 21:00 to Szántód, ferry to Tihany’s lookout for glittering south-shore views, then Balatonfüred, Alsóörs, a refresh in Kenese, a moon check in Balatonvilágos, and glide back to Siófok.
Late-July Highlights
July 19, comedian Péter Aranyosi brings The Digital Ninja (A digitális nindzsa) to the open-air stage at 20:30, tickets 6,900–8,900 HUF (about 19–25 USD). Weekly cycles of boat tours, adventure games, and sunset Chill cruises continue July 20–30, punctuated by city “green” walks on July 23.
Dorka Gryllus’s Unscripted (Kötetlenül) chats take over the Teátrum July 24 (2,500 HUF, about 7 USD). July 25 fires up Balaton Retro Fever (Balatoni Retro Láz), plus kids’ and party boats. The Beach Library (Strandkönyvtár) opens June 22–August 19 at Sóstó and Újhely beaches for lazy reading between swims.
