Musical Fairy Tale Magic
On Monday, January 19 at 10:00 and 14:00, and Tuesday, January 20 at 10:00, the Fellegjárók Társulat stages Lázár Ervin’s A Hétfejű Tündér (The Seven-Headed Fairy) as a 60-minute musical fairy tale at the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center (Kálmán Imre Művelődési Központ) theater hall. Bábos Mesefalva (Puppet Story Village) runs January 28–29, 09:00–15:00 at the BRTK Library children’s section, 8600 Siófok, Fő tér 2. Over 1.5–2 hours, preschool and primary school groups craft and engineer a shared story by building a puppet village and populating it with favorite characters. The tale evolves as the town takes shape—hands-on, imaginative, and collaborative.
Farsang Fever at the Library
On Friday, January 30 at 10:30 and 16:30, Géza Áprily presents Itt a farsang, áll a bál (Carnival Is Here, the Ball Is On), a spirited, musical, interactive carnival show at the BRTK Library children’s section. Entry is free. Stick around the same day from 15:00 to 17:00 for Farsangi Buli 2026 (Carnival Party 2026) in the children’s section—come in costume for a small library surprise. High-Seas Adventure: Rumini
On Saturday, January 31 at 10:30, the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center (Kálmán Imre Művelődési Központ) hosts Rumini Ferrit-szigeten (Rumini on Ferrit Island), a two-part musical tale by Pesti Művész Színház, recommended for ages four and up. The beloved sailor mouse and crew face the deadly trap of Ferrit Island’s cruel mistress, escaping only through cunning, creativity, and selfless courage.
