Siófok on Lake Balaton’s south shore is packing 2026 with festivals, concerts, theater, exhibitions, and family fun across multiple venues. From lavender fields to late-night beach parties, the city’s summer calendar is relentless and worth the trip in any season.

June 5–7: Openers on the sand and on stage

Plázs Siófok fires up on Friday, June 5, with Beton.Hofi and Co Lee from 19:00 to 23:00, followed by RapCaviar from 22:00 to 04:00, led by Tha Patkányz, Mikee Mykanic, FRANKO, Füstös, and Detto. Meanwhile, My Garden (ÉnKertem) – Lavender Harvest opens at Diófás út 136 and runs June 5–July 7, a fragrant escape from basslines to purple rows.
Boat trips on Balaton run all week, and there’s a city exploration game that turns sightseeing into a competitive outdoor adventure for friends and families.

June 6: Art bursts, decks spin, stones speak

Brushes Up! (Ecsetre Fel!) – the third open-air painting meetup – takes over town with an all-day free creative jam. The Mineral Museum (Ásványmúzeum) celebrates its 40th birthday 11:00–15:30 at Kálmán Imre Promenade (Kálmán Imre sétány) 10 with free admission for everyone. Expect updated showcases of rare Transylvanian mineral formations, a dinosaur footprint and fossils, guided storytelling by the founder-collector, plus a Jubilee Shop with limited-edition labeled mineral rarities while stocks last.

On June 8, the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center stages the Duna Art Ensemble (Duna Művészegyüttes) and the Göncöl Band (Göncöl zenekar) in Fathers and Sons (Apák és fiak), a dance piece after the collections of Albert Nagy, with Jászai Mari Award–winning actor Ödön Rubold quoting Kölcsey’s Parainesis. June 10 at the BRTK Library’s children’s area: Pig and Goose (Malac és Liba) interactive session with Krisztina Tóth at 13:30; her book Can-Can on the Glass Floor (Kánkán az üvegpadlón) gets a 17:00 launch in the lecture hall. June 11, Katalin Szegedi presents As If It Were Yesterday (Mintha tegnap) at 17:00. June 12, SiópArt 2026/2 launch and Perczel 75 at 17:00.
June 12 is Siófok Sports Day (Siófoki Sportnap) at the Great Beach from 10:00 to 15:00. Try football, tennis, basketball, chess, beach volleyball, dance, and martial arts. Local clubs present; Exatlon Hungary champs Réka Szabó and Gábor Koplányi and the Challengers team appear. It’s all about movement, community, and finding your sport. June 15–23: Icons, color, and street soundtracks

Boat trips and the outdoor game run June 15–21. June 19 brings Neoton from 19:00–23:00, plus Metzker & Friends opening night in the Plázs Arena with Viktória Metzker, Milán Koósz, Mario, Pixa, and roaming K-OSZ TV. Lavender fields keep buzzing June 19–21. The Everness Festival runs June 19–28.
June 20: the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade (Utcazene Kavalkád) turns city corners into mini stages for live street music from fresh talents and seasoned players. Also on the 20th: Pogány Induló at Plázs; the 2nd Siófok Mölkky Championship from 13:00 at Beszédes József Primary School’s park, with authentic Mölkky sets for winners and a Finnish quiz for the brave. Guided Siófok Walks (Siófoki séták) pop up June 20 and again June 27.
June 22–28: more boat trips, more game time, and the Beach Library (Strandkönyvtár) opens at Sóstó and Újhely beaches from June 22 through August 19.

June 26–July 5: AstroFest, collectibles, swing, and rap

June 26, the BNK (Bódis–Nagy Katinka) Dance Association lights up the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center. AstroFest takes over Plázs June 26–27 with a multi-stage blast: Friday’s main stage features Bruno x Spacc, ValMar, Bréda Bia, Luca Mihályfi, Blansch; the Arena hosts Viktória Metzker & Friends, Milán Koósz, Vini, Pumped Gabo; the Sand Stage runs Chrstphr, Dumbo, Jauri, Johanna Bozai; Small Plázs (Kisplázs): One Dance; VIP + pool: DJ Slaager. Saturday: KKevin, T. July: Musicals, legends, and color storms

July 1, Majka storms Plázs (doors 19:00). The same night, the Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage in 5 Jókai Park hosts American Comedy (Amerikai komédia) – a swing musical revived by Veres 1 Theatre (Veres 1 Színház), based on Károly Aszlányi. Cast includes Kata Janza/Horváth Mónika, Kornél Simon, Ádám Bálint, Péter Harna, Ágota Siménfalvy/Falusi Mariann, among others; music by Bálint Bársony; directed by Károly Peller.
