Siófok Throws A Four-Day Birthday Bash

Discover Siófok City Day 2025: four days of concerts, exhibitions, awards, charity fair, ice rink, and Advent events across Main Square and venues—family-friendly winter culture on Lake Balaton.

It’s that time again: City Day is back in Siófok from November 27–30, 2025, lighting up Main Square (Fő tér) and venues across town with concerts, exhibitions, awards, and a charity market. The long-running celebration salutes Siófok’s past, present, and future while bringing residents and visitors together for music, culture, and winter vibes. Thursday: Music, Memory, Community

On November 27, the Civil House (Civil Ház) hosts a 5:00 p.m. book launch: 10 Somogy Folk Songs from the collection of Árpád Együd, arranged by János Apáti. At 7:00 p.m., an organ concert by Miklós Teleki and Edina Bernáth-Kersák fills the Church of Our Lady of the Harvest (Sarlós Boldogasszony) Catholic Parish Church. Also at 7:00 p.m., Siófok Quiz Night kicks off at Lógó Üveg Kult. pub (ticketed).

Friday: Charity, Ice, Awards, Pop

November 28 starts with a 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. charity fair featuring local civil associations on Main Square (Fő tér). At 9:00 a.m., the “Good Student, Good Athlete” awards ceremony takes the stage at the Imre Kálmán Cultural Center theater. The ice rink opens at 2:00 p.m. at Big Beach (Nagystrand). At 4:00 p.m., the “Hey! 20! Siófok” regional values exhibition opens in the upstairs gallery at the Imre Kálmán Cultural Center, while Siófok’s elementary schools perform on the Main Square stage: the József Beszédes School choir and István Széchenyi School’s class 4.b with Waiting for Santa. Gingerbread City Siófok opens at 4:30 p.m. in the center’s foyer. At 5:00 p.m., the City Recognitions awards ceremony honors locals (with performances by the Monarchy Operetta and Krisztina Ugi-Pál). Popdealers close the evening with a 7:00 p.m. concert on Main Square.

Weekend: Advent Moves In

Saturday, November 29 brings an Advent crafting session (10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) at BRTK Library, followed by the Siófok Art School’s Advent concert at 5:00 p.m. on Main Square, and a 4S Street concert at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30 features Advent candle lighting at 4:30 p.m., Imre Vadkerti Acoustic at 5:00 p.m. on Main Square, and Caramel’s holiday concert at 7:00 p.m. in the Imre Kálmán Cultural Center theater (ticketed).
